Description
This lovingly restored c.1843 Greek revival style home is listed on the Vermont State and National Historic Registers. In the 1850's prominent farmer Asahel Kidder owned the home. In 1880, Kidder's son-in-law, Isaac Wood, began a dairy and creamery on the same land, known as Maplewood Farm. The Wood family operated the dairy until 1979. Maplewood offers panoramic country views, wonderful sunsets from our porch and a romantic and intimate atmosphere amid many fine antiques.
