Built in 1756 our home is nestled on five and one half acres along the Lieutenant River in the charming and quaint village of Lyme, Connecticut. From the impressive view of the circular driveway, sunken perennial garden, herb garden and the wide expanse of lush green lawn you know you are entering a special place. A place of space and graciousness. Our eleven guestrooms are furnished with beautiful antiques with canopy or four poster beds. There is a charming cottage for private getaways with a sitting room with fireplace, large glass enclosed sunroom, a bedroom with queen size bed, and a fully equipped kitchen. Take a stroll down the path to your dock on the river and stop to admire the decks and gardens on your way. We serve a lovely and delicious breakfast and you have the choice of being a little spoiled by being served in your room or enjoying breakfast on one of our sunlit porches.
