Description
Paddle the coastal waters of Mount Desert Island, Acadia National Park's uninhabited islands and marine life in a stable 2 person ocean kayak with an experienced registered Maine Guide. Each kayak is equipped with water proof gear bags, flotation air bags, and a rudder mechanism. Your guide has a cellular telephone and VHF radio for instant communication with the base and shuttle driver. A relaxed pace staying close to shore for sightings of seals, eagles, porpoise, seabirds and Marine life prevalent in the area. National Park Sea Kayak Tours specializes in taking beginners and we limit tour size to a maximum of 12 people. Open June to September daily 8am to 8pm seven days a week, reservations are suggested.
