Description
A historic sleeper in Western Maine hill country, this mountain has some fabulous terrain -- good cruisers and challenging black diamonds -- as well as excellent teaching terrain. Also, you won't be fighting the crowds. Saddleback receives 186 inches of snow annually and has 41 trails which cover 100 acres. Snowboarders are unrestricted on the mountain and can also enjoy a terrain park. Saddleback also has cross country trails. It offers glade skiing, lessons, NASTAR racing, rentals, a ski shop, a restaurant, a lounge, and childcare.

How to Get Here
Take exit 12 from I-95 north (Maine Turnpike) to Auburn. Take Rte. 4 all the way to Rangeley and see signs to Saddleback Ski Area.
