Description
The park commemorates the role the city of Lowell played in the American Industrial Revolution. The park exhibits includes cotton textile mills, worker's houses, a 5.6 mile power canal system and other exhibits related to the Industrial Revolution. Guided walking tours several times daily in the summer months, and reproductions of 1901 electric trolley cars operate daily in early March to late November. The Park is open Mon-Sat. 9-5, Sun. 10-5, closed New Years, Christmas, and Thanksgiving. Admission to the park is free, Boat and trolley tours $6 and over-61 $5;$4 for 6-16. Reservations are required for the tours; 978 970 5000.
