Founded in 1929 Mystic Seaport is one of America's most popular tourist destinations. The 17 acre Seaport is situated on the Mystic River in Mystic, Connecticut. It contains, tall ships, historic building, planetarium, preservation shipyard, and numerous exhibit buildings. Open year round, except for Dec. 25. April to Mid-June 9am to 5pm. Mid-June to Sept.9am to 8pm. Sept.to Oct. 9am to 5pm. Nov. to March 9am to 4pm. Call to check the hours for your visit. Take exit 90 from Interstate 95 in Mystic, Conn and proceed one mile south on Rt. 27 follow the Seaport signs.
