Description
Summer home of Royal Governor John Wentworth, circa 1767. The estate burned to the ground in 1820 and all that remains is the cellar hole. The location is now an archaeological site owned by the state. It is also a waterfront location ideal for picnicking. There is an admission charge, children under 18 free
