Trapp Family Lodge Cross Country Ski Center was founded in 1967 becoming the first commercial cross country ski area in the country. According to the experts Trapp Cross Country Ski Center is the finest and best cross country ski center in the country if not the world. 45 kilometers of groomed trails and 100 kilometers of back-country trails makes Trapp the largest center in Vermont and is suitable for all ages and abilities. The old garage has been replaced by a contemporary lodge with a retail shop for equipment rentals. After your wonderful day, don't forget to stop at the Slayton Cabin for soup, sandwiches, hot chocolate and homemade cookies while you sit by the warm fireside.
