Description
There are two good swimming beaches in Boothbay Harbor, although not a stretch of sand, but the kids will have a good time collecting rocks and pebbles and searching for sea life. None of the areas have lifeguards. Dogs are allowed. Barrett Park on the east side, small and sandy at low tide and has a park with a picnic area and outdoor grills, and there is a nice lawn above the water. Grimes Cove is on your left as you come around Ocean Point. Parking along the road is free, no facilities.
