The Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum of three authentically restored eighteenth century houses, stands at the center of Old Wethersfield, Connecticut. Wethersfield. "The Most Ancient Town" in Connecticut was settled in 1634 on the banks of the Connecticut River. Today, 150 houses dating before 1850 line the streets of Old Wethersfield, forming the largest Historic District in Connecticut. The Webb and Deane Houses have also been designated as National Historic landmarks. Old Wethersfield lies directly south of Hartford, Connecticut on Interstate Route 91. Use exit 26 and follow the signs to the Museum. May l to October 31 Open Tuesday-Saturday l0 a.m. - 4 p.m. November l thru April 30, Friday-Sunday l0-4 p.m. Tours depart on the hour, the last at 3:00 p.m. Admission/ charge Student and Group Rates Available.
