Description
Artifacts covering 300 years of Bristol history are located in the cells of the former 1828 (and 1859) jail built of granite used as ballast in early sailing ships. The research library contains more than 1800 books and documents. A historical lecture series takes place monthly. Library open year round on Wednesdays from l-5 pm.
