Description
With seven mountains, Killington is the largest and busiest ski area in New England, offering something for every sort of skier. Skiers will find good beginner areas and schools, endless wide-open cruising, and every shade of black terrain right to the VW-size moguls on Bear Mountain. Glades are excellent as well. The access road is a legendary apres ski and dining scene. Pico Mountain, now part of the resort, offers a more low-key style.

How to Get Here
Drive to the junction of U.S.4 and VT 100 North in Killington, 11 miles east of Rutland. From the Killington sign on Route 4 (across from Bill's Country Store) drive 3.6 miles up the Killington Road to Snowshed Base Area on left.
